Executive Coaching & Leadership Development
Breakline Advisory works with executives and leaders at the moment strain turns into momentum. The goal isn't avoiding resistance. It's using it.

Breakline Advisory is led by Kim Talley. The premise is straightforward, if not always comfortable: the parts of how a leader operates that are hardest to shift are rarely hidden from view. They're hidden from accurate judgment, because a person evaluating their own blind spot is using the exact faculty that produced it.
The approach draws on the integration of the cognitive, emotional, and somatic self, treating self-observation as a starting point that gets checked against real external input, not a conclusion on its own. Three decades inside Fortune 500, aerospace, and Big Four organizations point to a pattern that holds up regardless of industry: talent is rarely the constraint. An avoided conversation is. A named-too-late blind spot is. A habit that worked at one level and quietly stops working at the next is.
Assessment is part of the work, not an afterthought. Each engagement is built around measuring the specific pattern being addressed, so shifts in competency are visible and traceable rather than a general sense that things feel different.
The work is one-on-one, for executives and emerging leaders working through resistance directly, rather than managing around it indefinitely.
How We Work
Diagnosing the patterns building beneath the surface, both in the leader and in the situation they're leading through.
Naming what's been avoided, deliberately, with the leader's full weight behind the shift.
Staying long enough to confirm the new pattern holds, once the engagement itself has ended.
Where We Help
A leader stepping into a bigger seat than the one they trained for
Someone who can see a pattern clearly but hasn't been able to shift it alone
A new leader who inherited a team, a culture, or a crisis that isn't theirs by origin
A high performer who's hit a ceiling and can't quite name what it's made of
